About
If you are reading this, chances are that one of the following is true:
-you were looking for information on riflescopes and such
-you know of my various ramblings from various 2nd Amendment related forums and publications
-you have way too much time on your hands, so you are browsing through random communities on Locals.com
Whichever one of these is true, welcome!
My original website: www.opticsthoughts.com is still live and will remain so as a database of all the articles I have written over the years. When I have something particularly long to post, it will go there with a link here on Locals.
I am a semi-professional gun writer and commentator.
I am also a full-time optics nerd. In that regard, I am fortunate to have my dayjob fall not too far away from many of my hobbies.
My interest in politics is somewhat newer.
Like many people, I have been paying attention to changes in the political landscape for quite a long time.
However, I mostly kept things restricted to 2nd Amendment advocacy.
No more. I grew up in the Soviet Union and my formative years were during its collapse. The Left wing in America today are pushing the same kind of Marxist nonsense I heard from the TV during my childhood, except the language is different.
The Left is hell-bent on destroying America just like it has destroyed everything it touched.
We should all be involved in voting them out of office. That is far more important than the usual political corruption.
This page will be the new home for my blog and while a lot of what I plan to talk about is still related to firearms and optics, there will be a lot more political content here from a standpoint of someone who grew up in Soviet Union.
