In a discussion with @afret (replying to his post below) he mentioned that Euro has a bunch of March scopes of discontinued configurations that are on discount.
I figured I should go and take a look at them to see if any represent a particularly noteworthy deal. I think some of them do.
The best deal of the bunch is easily the 4.5-28x52 with the FML-TR1 reticle https://alnk.to/9xj4aQx that was recently added. The version with FML-3 is here: https://alnk.to/8EJhtYs
These are the older versions of the scope with the original turrets. March has since update the scope with their Shuriken lock turrets, but aside from that it is the same.
FML-TR1 and FML-3 are the reticles I designed for March. When I was originally envisioned them, FML-TR1 was really meant for the 4.5-28x52, while FML-3 (non-tree version of the same concept) was my idea of a reticle for the 5-42x56.
The first one I stumbled on was March 1.5-15x42 with MTR-5 reticle. This is the SFP version with the simple MOA reticle for less than $2k. https://alnk.to/faBiPEQ
If you are out for a general purpose hunting scope for a little bit of everything, especially use with clip-ons, you could do much worse than this one.
Same for the 2.5-25x42 with SFP FD-1 reticle. This design has been around for a while (it is the first of March's 10x erector scopes), but at a discounted price, it is pretty worthwhile https://alnk.to/5jkRU29 FD-1 is essentially a nicely visible #4 reticle with a fiber dot.
This one is the 2.5-25x52 version. Same as above, but with a larger objective. https://alnk.to/esWgUCG
The 3-24x42 with TR1H reticle is the actual scope we were discussing. At full price, I think there are better options. However, at around $2k, it is pretty compelling. https://alnk.to/6TzGJzY Eyebox does get a little tight on high power, but at 22 ounces, the only FFP scope of comparable weight out there is the 4.5-22x50 Vortex Razor HD-LHT https://alnk.to/5jkRUgU.
The Razor is a more user friendly design eyebox-wise, but the March goes to lower power, so if you plan to use it with a clip-on that can make a difference.
