Inventory reduction: Meprolight
After some digging, I found three different Meprolight optics that have been collecting dust here for a while. I originally got them for an article, but it has been a while since I finished that.
1) Meprolight MOR Pro: 2.2MOA dot with tritium, fiber and LED illumination. Green laser only. These can be configured with Red or Green or Red and IR or Green and IR lasers. This one does not have an IR laser. As I said Green only. The interesting thing with these sights is that the red dot is tied to the laser, so that when you sight in the red dot, the laser point of aim also adjusts. Generally, Mepro's MOR is currently issued to the IDF on officer's M4s to the best of my knowledge, so they have good durability track record. I had a lot of fun playing with it, but it has been just sitting in the safe for months now. $475 shipped within CONUS. SOLD
2) Meprolight X4 prismatic scope with crosshair BDC reticle. It is essentially the same configuration as this one: https://www.amazon.com/Meprolight-Mepro-4X-CRH-Magnification-Crosshair/dp/B07C189CNM
Optically, Mepro's X4 seems to be very similar to the 4x32 ACOG and the specs sorta confirm that. It has a rubber coated eyepiece though in case you get kissed by the scope and the illumination is LED only and not super bright. Best I can tell, Israelis viewed as more of a DMR optic, so the illumination was intended for low light use primarily. You can not utilize BAC with this one. $375 shipped within CONUS.
3) Meprolight Foresight. This one is Mepro's take on an augmented reality RDS. It works quite nicely and if you like to play with different options and reticles this is a very entertaining optics to experiment with. If that is not your thing, it is still a very competent RDS sight. All the augmented features can be turned off. SOLD $275 shipped within CONUS.
